Coronavirus

Today I took my dog for a walk while wearing a mask. Since I have asthma and diabetes, I have a high risk of having complications from the coronavirus. My biggest hurdle is trying to keep from being bored. I am catching up on books to read, movies to watch and puzzles to work.

Hope all of you are doing well. I hope you are able to stay entertained at this time.

Good Day

I have had a good day today. In fact, I have had a good month. Wish it could be this way all the time, but I know it is a pipedream and won’t happen in my lifetime. But I can have as positive an attitude as possible to keep bad days from being overwhelming. Hope all of you are having a good day.

Rover

I am trying to get on Rover.com as a dog sitter and walker. I am hoping that I can continue to get better with the depression by doing something I enjoy and I love working with animals. I wish people would be as enjoyable as animals, but because we are human we tend to be too judgmental at times, myself included.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Driving

People need to realize that there are people who drive who follow the rules of the road. Some people stop at red lights and you need to stop as well. I have a friend who was in an accident today and she has a birth defect called Agenesis of the Corpus Collosum and she obeys the rules of the road. Be careful when driving.

Fourth of July

The fourth of July was great.  But the fireworks scared my puppy.  My mom and I finally got her to go under covers, she would not let her head be covered, and she did well after that.  I am glad that things worked out for her.

Today

Today is also a good day.  It is hot, too hot, but I am comfortable and so far my temper is really good.  Hoping tonight will be just as good if not better.  I am more happy these past six months than six months ago and before.  Hoping the next six months will continue to be good.

Training

Have been taking Lady to training for a while and I am very proud of her.  She falls back to old ways at times, but she is doing better every week.  I try to work with her every week as well and I am doing better as well.  I hope we continue to do better.

Slowness

Dyspraxia tends to make the person who has it be slower than most people.  We take longer to learn and once we truly learn something, we rarely forget it.  We are visual learners.  We can drive, but we tend to brake sooner than most people.  We can work, but the employer needs to understand that he/she cannot rush us.  I wish America would provide more information on dyspraxia so employers, family and friends could get the information they need or want about it and their employee, family member and friend.
